colorless me...

this is the 3rd time i logged onto this laptop and internet today. just today! it's a saturday, yet as usual, i wasnt outta house at all. no kaki jio me. i cant jio some ideal ones as they are busy with schoolwork/exams. and, i dont want to shop alone.

or i should say that i dont wanna be out bcoz knowing tml is another outing with the big family. our duty to pay respects to our ancestors for the qingming. i did mention last wedn at kong meng san, paying respects to grandparents and well, this round begins special visit to mum. but still, there are 2more places to visit, that is, bukit brown cemetery and a columbarium at yishun.

all thru the years, i merely knew that these ancestors are father's relatives who i dont really hav a clearer view of who they are. as i always used to ask mum abt their relations, she would brush me off as, "you are still young to know. tell u next time."

yah... no more next time liao, mummy. unless u are willing to appear in my dreams and teaching all those things that u havent explain to me before.

back to basic, my life getting too colorless now. though i went for a briefing on wedn for a diploma in pre-school teaching sponsorship course, i felt "i am picking up pieces". at least. something to answer mum and others that "i am picking up!" lah.

details of the course:
~ 6mth full-time. mon-fri. 0930h-1630h.
~ fully sponsored of $7875.
~ additional $500 per mth allowance. $500 x 6 = $3000 before cpf deduction.
~ good performance students to receive job placement from affiliated childcare centre. or else, job placement by the school.
~ need to pay $40 health examination at SATA.
~ need to pay one-time registeration $2000.

there's fear in me. fear to: face new people. new status. new environment. new course. my new life.

however, planning too much of colorful things tend to color me bad too.

last sunday, after that angry man at the chickie rice house, we shopped at ikea and i bought a lot of things. still, i havent shopped enough. upon receiving a thinner copy of bedroom catalogue from the mailbox, i havent stop looking thru it for a day. not 4getting checking up the full catalogue online, bcoz i misplaced my copy while clearing mum's and my stuff.

i want to revamp the bedroom! i even made a shopping list. listed those wanted items and comparing prices. i need curtains, long mirror, wardrobe, a bedside table/drawers.

still pondering if father allows me to ditch that 30+ yrs old wardrobe and the 20+ yrs old workdesk. they bought the wardrobe before i was born. probably when they got married. it is now filled with father's shirts, mostly mine shits and jus a bag with mum's 3sets of clothes.

workdesk bought when brothers were in schooldays. now, drawers are cleared with father's business documents.

beside that, hav u tot of how to deal with ur bonus - progress package - crediting to ur account next mth? spend it? feast? or jus save it?

i definitely want to spend it lah. but how? on what?

that pair of $29.90 flats from metro? my furnitures from ikea/courts? set of skincare products? sunday afternn high tea? sunday brunch? eat-all-you-can buffet? handphone? bag? watch? wat?!!...

had an enjoyable evening last nite with jackson, yy and xin. again, we are missing out another buddy, vincent, whom gradually couldnt or shouldnt want to meet up for being "i cant make it" as his most useful reason.

anyway, met up with yy and jackson for dinner at clarke quay's brewerkz. great food but didnt order a big mug of cold beer! had their samples though. that taste of fruitbrew still linger.

then, xin followed up at 8.30pm in settler's cafe for games. as her exams are coming in may, she already been chomping her books now. wah! i wasnt like that when in temasek siah. so that's why i didnt get into the specialization that i wanted.

played till 12mn, uncle came to ferry me and the rest home. we are meeting in another 2mths later. hopefully at yy's new place for bbq. had the last one in jan05.
