matured me. #2..

a FOC home visit service by a hospice. a nurse and a social worker came ringing my door bell. this is their 1st visit. as usual, mum is still with her negative thoughts whenever the nurse asked her abt. though she kept saying nothing is bothering her; it's that she didnt realise it nor admit it. i couldnt handle. felt so helpless. jus hoping that her moods would lift someday.

but, when the nurse asked abt whois taking care of her. she replied, "my youngest daughter". as the nurse asked again if i'm the most obedient one. she nodded and mumbled a yes.

i was overjoyed. even sheding a tear. could feel myself lifted.

she hasnt been saying me good for a long time. she always mentioned me for staying out with friends and not bothering to come home. she threatened to report police for missing person for not back home past midnite. or, shooed me to get married and to forget the family.

these words angered me. blaming mum for not being understanding.

but, today. i'm feeling damn great.

shortly after when nurse chat with mum, mum's niece(my cousin - choo jie) came over to visit. she stayed for 2hrs. we, trio, chat in the room. mum seem better. bcoz she always expecting choo jie to visit her as she stays in ponggol with her hubby. which therefore, mum has an impression that she should come every week.

i am quite pissed at choo jie when she stood us up sometimes. knowing that she has an unschedule working hours as well as her weak health which tends to fall sick easily, she wouldnt show up last minute at dinner time when mum has already cooked her share.

today, she kept her promise. again, she fell sick so she gets to stay home, and able to visit us.

AND... once again, mum praised me. telling choo jie that i've been:-
* preparing medicines
* fetching drink
* massaging her
* washing her plates after meals
-- whatever she commands. :)

guess i've grown. even the magazine that i bought. not the usual CLEO. it's SIMPLY HER. which meant for busy women, smart solutions and balancing lives.

this is my 1st time ever bought SIMPLY HER. was never pick this genre - WOMEN'S WEEKLY, DARE, etc - to browse even at bookstores. actually, i enjoyed reading it. finding the articles are more realistic to local. as for CLEO, it featured more of western celebrities and foreign issues - flashy bling bling fashion.

this Feb issue catches my attention with "AGE BEAUTIFULLY - 6 THINGS YOU MUST DO" & "RAISE A LOVING CHILD".

SEE? WHAT'S GOT WITH ME REALLY? I AM FEAR OF SENIORITY!
