disinterested me...

yesterday, i was panic when i spotted a streak of blue run on the collar of that $41.30 G2000 striped white blouse. tot it was ruined forever! i wont get to dress that for today's interview. so, i ran up to mum for help, asking for bleach. she offered me that 'vanish' powder to rub on that spot. it was useless! it cant come off. i felt disappointed bcoz i really like that expensive blouse although it had already deducted a 30% discount. it was $59 originally.

when i given hope on that blouse and changed to iron a black one, mum eventually came to my rescuse. mum is always the best. she cleared that blue streak! wow!

finally he managed to squeeze his time with me by lunching @potong pasir mac and sending me to fuji xeror tower for my interview. he gotta appts in town which may not be able to send me back home, as he said so.

today's interview is a marketing trainee position. since it was @fuji xeror tower, so i smsed jaky beforehand on what's the company on the 29th floor is dealing with. and, prudential is the answer. i wasnt convinced that even the moment i stepped into their mini meeting room while waiting for the manager to arrive.

oh my gosh... YESH... he's holding a file with prudential logo. i'm tricked into this interview. and there he goes...

well, at least i've learnt a fruitful lesson from this mike tang. he shared his experience of know abt nothing when grad from ntu's arts and social science. knowing abt the career path, their hypnotising selling tactics, prudential benefits and blah blah blah that i'm always not interested since young and NOW.

apparently, i do not show my disinterested on my face nor body language. i still maintain a sweet voice and smile smile smile every now and then... but, i honestly told abt my interest in event mgt instead of the ailenated insurance policy.

oh yah! not forgetting this, prudential employees do not regard themselves as insurance agents. they are the FINANCIAL ADVISERS and they advise their cilents to invest $ into insurance policy which is a monetary benefit when bad situation came. they listen to what their cilents need. it sounds nicer this way.

straight after i stepped out of that peter tan orgn, i called jaky for meetup. he was surprised seeing me 1st time in formal wear and heels. "wah, chuan ze yang mei ah?" he said. i giggled away. we proceeded to amara for burger king bcoz he hasnt had his lunch while i jus need sth to quench my thirst.

also, not forgetting that senior one. smsed him abt my wherabouts.

time passed fast, jaky and i sat for abt 45min and waited with me till the senior arrived. i claimed that he's my god-dad and he trusted that obediently. :)

then, the senior sent me to CP as i wanted to surprise jas whois working for stabilio @popular. she smsed me while i was on my way, asking if i wanna meet her when she finished her shift. i repiled "see how loh."

definitely, she was surprised by my executive look. she tot that i was a mummy shopping for kids' stationeries. haha!

it was still early, i shopped the mall and misread the time. it was 1700 and i read as 7pm! i quickly fumbled thru and bought 2 pieces 3/4cupped bras @$14.90 only from john little. overall, i am satisfied with the items.

i nearly KO while walking. probably with the strain from the heels, as been walking for the whole day liao. could be the bloodstream could not flow smoothly to my brain. so, i headed back to jas and said be back later with her for dinner.

back @7pm, we makan @the top floor food court. as usual, it was packed! but i already set my eyes on the laksa. that was my 1st time and it was delicious. however, it's kinda small and cost 3bucks.

thinking abt it now, i missed the chi-hums. i missed the time when jas and i had chi-hums using our barehands @jackson kopitiam. i like that way to enjoy ur food. barehands, kopitiam, dress casually. no strings attached at all! when are we going for that again?...
