another mth of me...

time passes super fast. it's another month gone. gotta lotsa thing to bitch.

start with yesterday as it's the freshest...

28july, fri: supposed to go home aft class @4pm. need to catch my beauty sleep, hasnt been sleeping well due to assignments' due date. eventually, went to safra tamp with a classmate (who happen to call HOPE - her baptized name). purchased 3pc of FOX tops, costing $5 each. yeah... damn shitty cheap. still tagged with original price of $19-23. anyway, satisfied with what i bought bcoz u wont see me buying these super-thin and not-worth-the-price quality FOX clothes at usual prices.

it was even cheaper than those clothes which i bought at giordano warehouse sale few weeks ago, which cost $10 each. yeah.. i'm a cheapo. u can say that!

27july, thur: the date due of another paper assignment questioned "WHAT ARE THE 5SYSTEMS OF BRONFENBRENNER'S ECOLOGICAL SYSTEM? HOW DOES AN ARRIVAL OF A NEW SIBLING AFFECT A CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT?"

it's chim. esp if u dunno who bronfenbrenner was. it's even difficult to type his name correctly in a shot.

worse if research is insufficient - if focus on him only. till, something strike me that i should read abt parents' effective parenting skills. definitely, my story flows smoothly and had quoted lotsa references. ultimately, i completed the paper in a day (2am, exactly), which lecturer always reminds us to pen ur 1st paragraph 2weeks before. and, so far, i've never tried to be that early planner; still a last-minute-midnite-oil-burner.

aft submission, should catch up beauty sleep; went to the other side of sg for more project requirement - children's play equipments/playground. gotta take pix and comment on the uses & safety aspects.

so followed to shidah's house at jurong west with yani, as shidah needs to break her day fast at 7.15pm. waited patiently esp aft a great delicious mee-soto cooked by her mum and kinda dozing off anytime...

set off to imm and taken out pics. and, we completed the discussion this morn at school - which lecturer expect us to do it on next monday's aftn lesson. arent we efficient?

anyway, there's more with this module. that is, to do up a A2 sized 3D model of a gym room for children. handy-craft work!

there are more but wouldnt wanna continue here, or else, i'll be staying up till the dawn and u wont be able to finish reading. wanto know details, jus call me up or ask me out! i'm waiting for U !!!

other new things, i've got a new handphone which is my 1st self-paid one. my desktop comp is repaired! and, a baby-g watch. ya ya... i'm rich now and not cheapo as i mentioned above.

also, ying is in indonesia with my sis-in-law since 11july (or is it earlier? cant remb). they will be there for 2whole mths as their visa allow. the whole house is superly quiet without her crackling laughter. no one cooks, so had to eat out. no one do household chores, so i tried to do it alternate days lahhh. no one do offerings on chu-yi and shi-wu, so er-ge and i do esp 7th mth.

now, they are coming back this tues bcoz ying falls sick there. as heard from da-ge, she's been crying and vomitting. definitely lah! my sis-in-law who always worried that ying would fall ill here; she didnt actually blink her eyelids on bringing her to her kampong.

ya la, i should be understanding also. that's her kampong mah as she hasnt been returning for at least 2yrs.

i was mad ta she didnt mention to me abt her returning at all. i only get to hear it from da-ge abt 2weeks before, and she told me 3days before! WTF? am i a stranger?

our communication seem to be dead aft i started school. she wont even inform me where she's going with ying, as if i know her destination and left me do all the guessing games. guessing the destination by observing the barangs she took or what time she would be back.

another thing, one of the modules that i've jus completed - children with exceptional needs - inspired me (and lotsa classmates) to tears. we studied abt children with disabilities; most commonly - physically and mentally, or behavioural and learning. this is when i learnt all those big medical terms. dyslexia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, cerebral palsy, asperger's syndrome, epilepsy, spina fida.

we watched movies and documentaries, and listen attentively to lecturer's personal experiences as a volunteer with these children. these directed me to work with them. they are not disabilities. these are the special challenges that gods give us as they believe that we can do it.

also, something makes me love him more - the Bubel Aiken Foundation. SOMETIMES THE WORLD NEEDS A VOICE... LET THE VOICE BE YOURS. it's clay aiken, the 1st runner-up of american idol II.
