lifted me...
jus got home from tampines. with xin and jackson - the usual three souls. had a quick lunch and 2pm movie. a short-timed date. but i'm happy as it lifted my mind off the stuff that i've gotta prepare for those monkeys tml.yep. i'm tense as u read the entry before this.
i need to REdraw up the monkeys' arrival schedule, a list of ground rules with positive terms, in search of intellectual games for their thursday's slot & probably a reward chart if they behave like humans.
i completed the schedule on fri nite. simple and clear. happy though. but yet for principal to vet. hopefully the monkeys could understand.
then, with the list of rules in positive terms. ie, "we respect our teachers and friends" instead of "we do not shout or fight". "we do our work quietly" instead of "we do not disturb our friends while doing their work".
these rules are to be put in this +ve way. or else, monkeys would follow what they read. so, U as a normal being should understand or could figure out what i jus mentioned.
i'm still stuck with this. haven finalise which i've to show to principal tml. and, i start work @8.30am tml! i'll be seeing the monkeys the whole day for the week bcoz it's their week long March holidays. which means screaming for the next 50hrs for working 10hrs daily. ~need to drown myself with pei-pa-kor~
next, intellectual games. i bought 2books of word search puzzles @popular. costing $2.10 each. the cheapest that i can find on the shelf. each book has 125puzzles. which means each puzzle cost $0.0168. haha... very calculative hor?
whatever! as long as i hope this could keep the monkeys glued onto the chair and no fighting!
have yet to do the reward chart. as i read from book which suggest this is one of the effective discipline for
~ i'm getting inconfident in handling monkeys. i'm not a zookeeper or someone who tame wild animals. i jus need to learn as i hope for a good change in future ~
