fruitful day...

hah! didnt expect that my lecturer was so helpful to assist me today. too bad that i didnt appreciate and realise any of her kindness when was under her teachings. although i left the school for less than a month, counting from the day with the last finance written exam paper onwards, i was quite touched that she helped me enthusiatically today. thank you!

she called and brought me to the marketing manager of the campus, which the dept was in need of ppl since 2 pax jus left their position from labour day. the manager is another great and fun-going person to speak with. i do wish that she would call me soon, hopefully by this week, with my fingers crossed real tight! argh!

probably bcoz the past encounters with tertiary lecturers when i was still in temasek poly. although every class was assigned with a so-called CARE-person, who supposely to act like a form teacher from primary/secondary schooldays, i couldnt really remember anything that she assisted me. the last one for my final poly yr was a kpo and nag her teaching but with motherly love. i did visit her once after the official graduation, but that was bcoz 'i'm on the way anyway', as i was returning to campus for the final HepB prevention jab.

we chatted for abt an hour. but she wasnt hospitable to offer me a seat! so u can imagine how tiring it was to chat with her while i am standing and she was sitting comfortably on her chair. also, she mentioned that i've changed jus by the way i dressed. i was wearing a no-sleeve top which baring could cover my belly-button and a sunglasses shoved on my fringe. she commented that i turned trendy and daring as she never see me dressing like that! OMG!... motherly + conservative. also, she would like to see me to visit her every 6months, hoping to see any changes in me and my life. but i never contact her ever since. if i could, i would definitely want to maintain this friendship as i dont mind getting attention from another person. :>

mac is another great fren! she offered me her self-baked choc cheesecake. that was heavenly delicious! i must get the recipes and learn from her! also, another baking queen from the class, gigi, with her heavenly delicious tiramisu... yum yummy yum!

then, went to shop! finally! after so long of months and weeks of saving and working hard for the money... bought a hair straightener @$59 from carrefour. quite reasonable as i've been looking long for this kinda stuff, which comes with ceramics soleplates and adjustable temperature. most importantly, the heat-up takes only 30sec!

other purchased items, 9cuppa yogurts, pink giordano polo-tee, hair treatment essence spray, whisper (heehee...). i spent abt a hundred in all. although it's not much stuff and money, but i do enjoy... hmm, going to JB to shoppo this sunday, so must still set aside some $$ to see what great offers to grab...

later in the evening, i accompanied him to a taiwanese fortune teller @toa payoh who he had made the appointment a yr ago! the angpow for him cost $128. he's accurate on everything that he said abt his personality, working attitude and life. hmm, mayb i should make an appointment with this shifu too. to understand what i'm actually good at and should strive for it. okay, another sum of $128 to be saved for this...
