am i happy after all?...
after all those bitching last nite, we were back again...how did we get back? of coz lah! he did all those pacifying and sweet talking loh, jus like a kid... although i'm not ta kinda person who likes her man to do mushy sweet-talk, but i kinda like it somehow someway for someshit. :) *haiz* women are fickle-minded...
where did we go then? we stopped by a minimart, picking up some munchies and POKKA green tea. next, heading to pierce reservoir for a stroll and watching ppl fishing some fishes and mini lobsters by the reservoir bank. initially, he caught an orange-colored goldfish easily. i quite like that goldie, it's very obedient, no struggle at all. there were other fishes too. most are baby prawns and baby soon hock. there are lou-hans too!
then, the commotion by a family of five, i assumed. the man was fishing for mini lobsters under those rocks. he was holding a chopstick pierced with a piece of edible hotdog, bare-footed, bermudas and a black glove on his right hand. after much searching and waiting, he threw out a black bodied prawn from those rocks onto the grass patch. his kids were delighted with his catch.
THEN! i heard one auntie who i assumed they are together.
"wah, next time u can offered lobster noodles at ur prawn noodles stall loh."
"well, if we are lucky to catch that much for sale lah," said the mother. "today is just to relax loh."
[OOOOh! so as we always enjoyed those prawn mee at hawker stalls, the prawns might not be genuine and well bred by official fishermen! the prawns could be fished from our reservoirs or so-called long-kaou! ]
as the gate to the reservoir closes at 7.30pm, we packed our butts to leave half an hour b4 the gate closes. then, he heard that goldfishes are left here for fang-sheng by ppl, so we shouldnt catch these fang-sheng fishes home. it is not auspicious. so, we let go the goldie. but still, we will be back here again with pail and net to catch other fishes!
we drove to our favorite japanese restaurant, TAMAKO. i wasnt really enjoyed my japanese meal when at gentings and we had never been patronise tamako at dinner time. also, hadnt been to tamako for quite sometime liao, we decided to hav dinner there. not expecting that the restaurant would be full-housed due to mother's day today, we shifted our dinning decision to HAN'S instead. :( well, i still enjoyed my meal although not enjoying the rowdiness by other diners and servers...
today is mother's day... what gift or surprises did u giv to ur mum? does she like it? i've always wanted to giv a gift to my mum on this special day. however, her pessimistic and negative comments always turn me off and making me to ponder that i should give or not to give. i do really wanna to make her happy and apologising to her of all those stuff that makes her unhappy. STILL, she must understand and acknowledge my hard-work too.
few days ago, she brought out our old photographs from the cupboard, wanted to show baby yingying who actually would tear and throw them everywhere. i looked and remembered that at their times, they frequented photo studios for memorable photo shoots. they wore those baggy pants, high collared shirts, pretty dresses and those heighted hairstyles. i wondered what's are their color combinations as you cant see any differences from these black and white pictures! HAHA...
SO next year, i probably had already settled with a job and had saved enough $$. i would bring her to a photo studio and asked to be taken together. at least, we get a tangible memento that we could keep for long since she has to take care of her diet outside due to her diabetes, high blood pressure as well as the high and unhealthy cholesterol level.
I WILL SETTLE FOR THAT THEN! SHE WONT COMPLAIN THAT I SPEND MORE THAN I EARN! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! I DO LOVE YOU AND WISH YOU BE WELL AND HAPPY! :x
